Facebook Inc. has introduced enhanced targeting features within its “mobile app install ads” feature, allowing developers to create app campaigns that are better tailored to specific mobile devices.
The targeting allows developers to design app ads that reach people on specific versions of Android and iOS mobile operating systems and devices with Wi-Fi-only connections. Such refinements can encourage app downloads, Facebook said on the Facebook Studio blog.
Facebook continues to enhance its ad offerings. Last week the company started placing ads from its FBX ad exchange in the news feeds of users, including retargeting ads from sites that users have previously visited.
